- Try not to go overboard with the makeup. You don’t want to look like a clown, but you also don’t want to look like you’re going camping. A good rule of thumb is that if you wouldn’t wear it on the day-to-day, then don’t wear it when getting ready for your date.

You don’t have to have a ton of colors on if you don’t want to, just go with some earthy tones and hues that are natural for your skin color!
2 Small Bit of Eyeliner
Adding a small bit of eyeliner can actually go a really long way. If you are feeling really daring, you can even try out a colored eyeliner. For me, I just use eyeliner on my top lid when I am heading to work, so all you tomboys out there, that might be a good start for you!
3 Go with a Color You like
When you are picking out colors for your eye shadow or even your eyeliner, go with the color choices that you like. If you like black, go with black, if you like blue, go with blue, but find a color that you’ll actually wear. That’s the important thing. If you like dark blue, buy a navy pencil or eye shadow!
4 Little Mascara if You Dare
I know that mascara is hard to put on, especially if you aren’t use to it, so tomboys, if you don’t want to do mascara, that’s okay. Just eyeliner will make your eyes pop and stand out, but mascara will really draw attention to your eyes. Personally, it took me a really long time to get how to put mascara on.
5 No Blush
Wearing blush is something that takes a lot to master to put on, so if you are looking for something quick and something easy, just skip the blush. You might not really need it for the small bit of makeup you are wearing and who knows, maybe your natural pink undertones will show through on your cheeks!
6 No Bronzer
Bronzer is another one of those makeup products that takes a lot to apply and to learn how to apply correctly. For me, I have absolutely no idea how to put on bronzer – not to the point that it looks great anyway! Bronzer can add more definition to your cheekbones, but if you don’t mind your cheeks the way they are, no need for bronzer!
7 Light Powder
Finally, the last thing that you can do if you are looking for super easy makeup tips for a tomboy is just a little dusting of powder over your face. This will take away any shine at all! Just a small bit around your whole face will give it a glow that really makes you stand out!
