Lip makeup for halloween

If you’re looking for a way to add some color to your Halloween look, lip makeup is the way to go. You can make your lips stand out or blend them into your costume, depending on what you’re going for.

If you want to make your lips stand out, try a bold color like red or purple. This will really pop against the darker colors of most costumes and make sure everyone knows who you are! If you’re going for a more subtle look, try a nude tone or brown lipstick—you can use it as an accent color by dabbing it lightly on the center of your top lip and then blending it into the rest of your face with bronzer or blush.

Whatever look you choose for yourself, remember that there’s no such thing as too much of a good thing when it comes to makeup!

Halloween is a bit of a palaver – and not unlike New Year’s Eve, there’s always so much pressure around outfits and make-up.

If you don’t want to be a spoilsport but you also don’t want to spend hours in front of the mirror attempting to create a professional looking zombie, then this simple lip look is perfect for you.

Your step-by-step guide to spooky Halloween lips

Halloween lip tutorial Step By Step

STEP 1: Line your lips, going a little over your natural line to create the illusion of a more shapely silhouette.

STEP 2: Drag the liner upwards to create vertical lines along your lips. This will create a shadow beneath the lipstick, making them look fuller.

STEP 3: Fill in your lips with the glossy plum shade. Make sure you bring the lipstick right up to your lipliner and blend it in – otherwise you’ll be left with a different coloured edge.

STEP 4: To make it look like there’s a cut, mix together some black liquid eyeliner and a liquid red lipstick. Use the eyeliner applicator to draw a thin line at one side of your lips. The black and red should mix nicely together to create the look of an actual cut.

STEP 5: Take your tube of fake blood and apply a little bit onto your newly-drawn cut line. Let it drip down onto your lip.

STEP 6: Add a little bit more fake blood, and allow it to fall onto your chin. The more blood you use, the bigger the drip will be.

And voila, a Halloween look ANYONE can master.
