Bras for big busted women
You may have heard the statistic: 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. According to expert bra fitter, Kimmay Caldwell, who has fitted thousands of women over the past 14 years, women with larger busts are even more likely to be wearing the wrong sized bra. It can be difficult to find bras for large breasts (and even more difficult if you have a small ribcage and small band size).

“Often people with a fuller bust are more apt to wear a size and style that doesn’t fit well, because their options are limited at the store or they have no idea that an F or G cup may exist,” she told Seventeen. If you have big boobs, you need even more options for customization to make sure that your bra is supporting a heavy bust, offering back support, and potentially fitting snuggly to a smaller frame — after all, most of the support from a bra actually comes from the band.

“The thing is that people with a smaller bust, who may require less support, can often ‘get away’ with wearing a bra that is slightly off. But when a bra is even slightly off for someone with a fuller bust, it’s often more painful or obvious underneath clothing,” says Kimmay.
So to make sure you’re getting the best possible bra for your bust, we chatted with experienced icons to find the best bras in the biz from model Iskra Lawrence to content creator Nabela Noor who gave us their expert recs on the best bras for girls with large busts. On the hunt for t-shirt bras, bras with full coverage and thick bands, or cheap bras that actually work? Here are the cutest, most supportive bras for large breasts.
Full Coverage Underwire Unlined Lace Bra
Band Size: 32 – 48Cup Size: B – FThis lace-y number is a sexier version of your go-to all-black everyday bra. Fully adjustable straps offer the perfect amount of lift, and an underwire supports from below. A reviewer writes, “May I start by saying that this bra is the ONLY wired bra I’ve ever owned that doesn’t feel like an epic torture device! I put it on, and it was so soft and gentle that I forgot I had a bra on.”
24/7™ Perfect Coverage Bra
Band Size: 32 – 44Cup Size: B – HThirdLove is digital content creator and activist Nabela Noor’s all-time favorite. She loves that the brand is inclusive, both in their sizing and their company. “I made the switch from VS to ThirdLove as I was looking for a company that didn’t just embrace me, but uplifted me,” she explained. “My absolute fave is the Perfect Coverage Bra. I am all about coverage and comfort and I also want to feel sexy for me.”
The Diana Busty Sports Bra for F, G, H, I Cup
Size Range: S – XXLYes, you heard us right — this is a sports-bra-style bralette for the busty girls. Everyone deserves to be comfortable underneath their clothes, even if you require a little more support! One passionate review reads, “Graduating from university summa cum laude pales in comparison to the feeling of accomplishment I got when I put on this bra. I’m not even joking. This is the end of your journey, fellow women and boob-havers. You have found what you were looking for.”
Rive Gauche Full Coverage Unlined Bra
Band Size: 32 – 40Cup Size: F – IIt’s easy to see why this bra is a best-seller. The dreamy blue lace feels romantic, and the bra is unlined yet still offers full coverage for anyone seeking a cup that supports and centers the breast tissue. One happy customer writes, “A good bra for those with larger breasts, covers and lifts very well, without feeling like body armor.”
Basic Beauty T-Shirt Bra
Band Size: 30 – 46Cup Size: C – GAfter band size, straps are the second most important bra factor. “If you have a very full bust, going wider, or padded, or even using shoulder cushions on very thin straps is a great idea,” Kimmay explained. This particular bra offers a thicker strap which will help distribute some of the pressure on your shoulders.
If you have big boobs, you know all too well that shopping for bras can be a tedious and uncomfortable process. Some might even say it’s as annoying as finding the right pair of jeans. Despite what the diamond-studded fantasy bras of years past may tell us, bras can feel extremely unsexy to try on and purchase. Even more so when many American lingerie manufacturers tend to cater to smaller cup and band sizes — bustier consumers are then left with ill-fitting or drab styles, if they’re left with anything at all.
To help you avoid the stress of buying a bra in-store, we searched through all the Amazon reviews, asked all our big-boobed friends, and tried bras ourselves to find the good, the best, and the “beige and grandmalike but so comfortable that it’s worth it.”

However, there are many wireless bras that provide ample comfort, support, and lift, with no wire needed.Despite common misconceptions, wireless bras are a great option for women with large breasts. Our collection of wireless bras is fit for bra sizes through 58K and we offer a range of styles to suit any woman’s preferences.
